      Hello,

      I have set up a separate subdomain with it’s own WordPress Installation, so that I could import the Demo content and see how you have things set up so I can get our main site functioning. I installed the Avien theme with no problem, but when I go the Appearance -> Theme Ooptions -> Demo Importer, it does nothing. It gives me a message that says…Data is being imported please be patient, while the awesomeness is being created :)… I have tried it multiple times on multiple installs. The last time I tried it I left it for 10 hours.

      Can we get this working, or can you send me a file with the demo content (sql, uploads, plugins, etc.) and I can manually install?

      I got the email, thanks for the quick response! I get a 404 error when the process completes, and no content was uploaded. I also sent you an email.

      Hey again, we’ve successfully imported all demo contents in your site without any issue. How did you import it? We haven’t get any issue during the importing process. Please check your site.

      When you want to import them you should unzip or extract the zip file to your computer first. Then import demo xml file via wp-importer under the Tools, then Widgets via Widget import exporter via plugin, and finally theme options via theme options panel under the backup section.

      There is no special knowledge for the import them. Just follow the steps above.

      Thanks for taking of this. I’m not sure why it worked for you and not me. I did exactly what your instructions are BEFORE you got on. I extracted the contents, went to Tools -> Import, WordPress Import. Didn’t work. But it works now. Thanks!

      Hey Micki, I didn’t made different. Just select demo content .xml file and imported it via WordPress importer under the tools. That’s it. Also auto theme demo importer under the Theme Options > Demo Importer works like a charm. Maybe you can git it a try this built-in theme demo importer for the future.
