Hey there thanks for your purchase! We used the “thumbnails” for the images and it was turned our automatically columns depending on the main image size. If you use a different type of size for the image they will be automatically fit itself via columns.

“Enter image size. Example: thumbnail, medium, large, full or other sizes defined by current theme.”

Also, unfortunately, there is no option for the different size of the devices for the columns,
